Medical Insurance - Humana

The plan provides the opportunity to purchase major medical coverage for full-time employees and their dependents. Effective February 1, 2016, Humana will be the provider of our Medical Insurance. In addition, CGA will offer through Colonial Life the opportunity to purchase Specified Critical Illness Insurance, and Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance.  Critical Illness and Hospital Confinement insurance plans can help individuals and families manage the medical and living expenses that may result from a qualified serious illness.

Dental Insurance – Humana

The plan provides the opportunity for the employee to purchase dental coverage for full-time employees and their dependents.

Vision Insurance – Humana

The plan provides the opportunity for the employee to purchase vision insurance for full-time employees and their dependents. Coverage includes regular eye examinations and benefits toward vision care expenses including eyeglass lenses and frames or contact lenses, up to a designated dollar amount.

Wellness Plan – HumanaVitality®

A wellness and rewards program for those enrolled in our medical insurance plan. The program is designed to improve participants’ health and wellbeing, allowing employees and their enrolled dependents to earn Vitality Points™ for activities such as wearing a fitness device, completing a Health Assessment and getting flu shots. As participants continue completing activities and achieving recommended goals, they earn Vitality Bucks® to spend in the HumanaVitality® Mall.

Life Insurance – Humana

CGA offers Group Term Life and AD&D Insurance coverage 100% employer paid. The plan provides $25,000 group life insurance coverage for all active, full-time employees. In addition, the employee has the option to purchase Voluntary Group Term Life Insurance for themselves, spouse and child(ren).

Flexible Spending (Section 125)

Medical Flexible Spending Account: Eligible employees can contribute up to $2,550 per year in pre-tax dollars to help pay for eligible health care expenses.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account: Eligible employees can contribute up to $5,000 per year in pre-tax dollars.

401(K)

CGA 401(k) Plan is an excellent opportunity for our employees to plan for the future. Our plan offers a full range of investment options and discretionary matching contribution in accordance with our plan guidelines. Eligible employees may contribute up to the annual IRS dollar limit.

Paid Time Off

We realize that our employees have families and a life outside of the company and offer a generous time off program to encourage proper rest and relaxation.

Vacation: Full time CGA employees are eligible for 2 weeks of paid vacation within their first year of employment. After five (5) years of employment full time CGA employees are eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation.

Sick Leave: Full time CGA employees are eligible for six (6) days of paid sick leave during each calendar year. There is no maximum accrual of sick time.

Holidays: Full time CGA employees are eligible for eight (8) paid holidays per year. Included is a paid day off for an employee’s birthday.

Additional Benefits

Supplemental Insurance: CGA employees have the option to purchase additional insurance coverage through AFLAC and Colonial Life such as, short term disability, personal accident protection plan, hospital indemnity, and cancer protection plan.

Voluntary Life: CGA offers the opportunity to purchase additional Life Insurance at group rates through payroll deductions from Humana and American National.

Education Assistance: Full-time employees, having served at least two years with the Company, are eligible for reimbursement of tuition and books (up to $1,500 per year) for approved career-related courses based on successful course completion.

Professional Association Membership: CGA employees have the option to join one professional association in which CGA will cover annual membership dues.

Professional Development: Various positions within CGA have corresponding certification levels that enhance an employee’s professional development. Employees are encouraged to achieve these certification levels. CGA supports self-development and professional development efforts by providing reimbursements for some of the expenses associated with achieving these certifications.

Employee Assistance Program: CGA offers a voluntary and professional service that provides confidential information, counseling and referral services to all eligible employees.
