One Goal – Successful Implementation of Your Project

Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. has been providing professional services in South Florida for more than 78 years.  Since 1937, engineering has been a cornerstone of Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. (CGA).

At CGA, each of our engineering divisions – Coastal, Electrical, Municipal, Traffic, Land Development, Water & Wastewater, and Roadway, – work seamlessly together to provide our clients with complete project management services to ensure successful project delivery and functional, cost-effective solutions to their challenges. The Coastal Engineering Division provides design, planning, funding, permitting assistance, and construction management services for projects located in coastal zones, including such projects as waterfront development, utilities services, water resources management, environmental assessment, mitigation, coastal structure design, and storm protection.  The Electrical Engineering Division provides electrical design services ranging from a simple photometric design, to design of instrumentation and controls at a pump station, to a complete system design for a treatment plant. The Traffic Engineering Division provides services on private and municipal projects for site planning, design of roadway connections, design of traffic signals, design of traffic calming, permit plan review, traffic studies, and queueing and parking analyses.  The Municipal Engineering Division serves as consultants or staff engineers to various local, county and state governments. The Land Development Division performs civil site work design applications for CGA’s private sector clients, hospitals, and developers.  The Water & Wastewater Division provides design and assistance with permitting for projects associated with improvements at water and wastewater treatment plants.  The Roadway Division serves the Florida Department of Transportation and numerous municipalities and counties in the design of highways, public roadways, and offsite improvements associated with private developments.

Ensuring a Project is On Time and On Budget

At CGA, Project Management is an organizational approach to the management of all operations. This system is used to organize and meet clients’ needs by utilizing standardized routine tasks to ensure all aspects of a project are efficiently covered. The project manager is responsible for establishing the timeline and assigning tasks to the various departments within CGA, as well as supervising all elements of the projects including the Quality Control/Quality Assurance requirements. The bottom line – all project requirements are met efficiently and cost effectively, resulting in significant savings for our clients.
