CGA was contracted by the City of Weston to provide design, permitting services to convert the existing Soccer Fields 1 & 2 from natural grass to Artificial Turf fields. CGA successfully produced construction documents including project plans, technical specifications and obtained the required ERP permit modification for the park site. The project scope included artificial turf fields design, and irrigation system design. The artificial turf field drainage system was integrated with the existing drainage system of the park and the master surface water management system of Indian Trace Development District. CGA worked closely with the City of Weston’s Parks Department staff to research and investigate various artificial turf products to be considered for the project scope. The Construction was completed in February of 2018 with an etimated construction cost of $2 million dollars. CGA has carefully prepared the project plans and selected the best alternate design option to minimize construction cost and to ensure least amount of disturbance to the existing site and park operations.
